1. Introduction
Beaumont Tours and Travel (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Beaumont Tours”), registered and operating from Nairobi, Kenya, specializes in luxury African safaris and travel experiences. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and booking arrangements.
2. Booking and Payment Terms
2.1 Booking Process
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking
- Full payment is required 60 days prior to departure
- For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking
2.2 Payment Methods
- We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved electronic payment methods
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars
- Bank charges and currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the client
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Client
- 60+ days before departure: Loss of deposit
- 59-45 days before departure: 50% of total safari cost
- 44-30 days before departure: 75% of total safari cost
- 29 days or less before departure: 100% of total safari cost
3.2 Cancellation by Beaumont Tours
- We reserve the right to cancel any safari due to circumstances beyond our control
- Full refund will be provided in such cases, excluding expenses already incurred
- We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by clients in preparation for the safari
4. Travel Insurance
4.1 Mandatory Requirements
- Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients
- Insurance must cover medical emergencies, evacuation, cancellation, and COVID-19 related incidents
- Proof of insurance must be provided prior to departure
5. Liability and Responsibility
5.1 Our Responsibility
- We arrange and coordinate safari services with approved partners and suppliers
- We maintain high standards in selecting accommodation and service providers
- We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters or adverse weather conditions
- Political instability or civil unrest
- Changes in government regulations
- Wildlife sighting opportunities
- Third-party service provider actions
5.2 Client Responsibility
- Clients must obtain necessary visas and travel documents
- Clients must follow local laws and customs
- Clients must adhere to safari guide instructions and camp/lodge rules
- Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and safety
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Medical Requirements
- Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions
- Clients must obtain required vaccinations and medical clearances
- Clients must carry necessary medications and medical documentation
6.2 Safety Protocols
- Clients must follow safety briefings and guidelines
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries for safety reasons
- Clients participate in activities at their own risk
7. Itinerary Changes
7.1 Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control
- Alternative arrangements of similar standard will be provided where possible
- No refunds will be given for unused services due to client choice
8. Photography and Marketing
8.1 Content Usage
- We reserve the right to use photographs taken during safaris for marketing purposes
- Clients may opt-out of this arrangement in writing
- Professional photography/filming requires prior written permission
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 Information Usage
- Client information will be used in accordance with applicable privacy laws
- We maintain strict confidentiality of client information
- Information may be shared with necessary service providers
10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
10.1 During Safari
- Complaints must be reported immediately to allow for immediate resolution
- Our representative must be given the opportunity to resolve issues on-site
10.2 Post Safari
- Written complaints must be submitted within 28 days of safari completion
- Resolution will be sought through mediation where possible
- Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure is a result of events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorist activity, natural disasters, epidemics, or government actions.
12. Conservation and Ethical Tourism
12.1 Responsible Tourism
- Clients must adhere to our responsible tourism guidelines
- Wildlife viewing must follow park regulations and ethical guidelines
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for local communities is mandatory
13. Special Requirements
13.1 Dietary and Medical
- Special requirements must be communicated at time of booking
- While we will endeavor to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee all special requirements can be met

- These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice
- The latest version will be available on our website
- Bookings are subject to the terms and conditions in effect at time of booking
15. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

- Minimum 10 years’ experience requirement for all private guides

- Option for same guide throughout multi-country safaris
18.2 Guide Services

- All properties must meet our internal luxury certification standards
- Regular independent quality assessments
